The AKF Olympic Events (Check the desired events)
___ Golf Pro Challenge
Each player on a team will get two chances to chip a velcro golf
ball toward a single red spot for a hole in one on an upright
velcro golf green. The distance between the final resting point
of the ball will be measured from the spot. Only the closest distance
for that player will count. The distance from the red dot (or
hole) for all of the players on the team will be added and recorded
as the total team distance. The shortest distance wins the event!
___ Gold Cup Relay Race
This race takes place on the 1/8 mile oval race track. The team
must split up in to equal partitions along the track. The object
is to cross the finish line in the quickest time. The players
must pass a beverage in a cup (filled with beer or soda) from
one player to the next as the baton. Each player that crosses
the finish line must have an empty cup. It is up to the team to
decide which player(s) will do the drinking of the liquid. Intentional
spilling on the ground will disqualify the team. The team with
the quickest time places first!
___ AKF's Water-Balloon
Launching Event
The object of this game is for the team to catch 200 ft to 300
ft high launched water balloons and catch as many balloons in
a bucket as possible. There are three rounds. Three players on
the team will shoot the balloons into the air using a giant sling
shot. The rest of the team tries to catch them by holding a single
bucket. Four of teams will compete simultaneously. The first round,
the bucket will be a large tub, the second round it will be smaller,
and the third round it will be the size of a pail! A final round
will be used to break any ties. There will be five shots fired
for each bucket size. The team that has caught the most balloons
wins the event.
___ Basketball Shoot-Out
Very similar to those seen in sports bars, each team will have
a chance to score as many baskets as possible in a mini basketball
hoop. Each player gets thirty seconds to shoot. The next player
starts as soon as the 30 seconds are finished. Total baskets are
added up for all the players to reach the team score. The team
with the most baskets gets the most event points!
___Pro Football and Baseball
All-Stars Toss
A large six foot screen with a target hole in the middle stands
between the players and their success in this test of accuracy.
Each player chooses whether to throw baseballs or footballs in
this event. Baseballs are easier to get though, but footballs
are worth more points. A thirty second time limit means that the
players must throw quickly or a predetermined number of throws
will be allowed. Again, all the players points are totaled. The
first place team is the team with the most points.
___ AKF's Tug of War Over
Land or Over Water
In this final battle of might, only the top four teams do battle
for the Olympic gold points. There will be four tugs. The first
tug will be between the current second place team and the current
third place team. The next tug will be between the current first
place team and the current fourth place team. The losers of the
first two tugs will then tug for 3rd place in this event. The
winners of these tugs will compete for 1st and 2nd place for this
event. The points for this event will be added to the current
Olympic point total as usual to determine the Final score.
Olympic Team Competition and Scoring
5-8 Teams of 4 to 8 individuals 18 or older, randomly selected from a pool of participants, will compete in 6 events. Number and size of teams will be determined by the number of participants. Teammates will be determined by placing a card with a single name (or two if playing with significant other) into a box.
Points will be awarded to teams finishing events based on their event standing. The number of points to be awarded will be determined the number of teams in competition at the start of the Games. The following table assumes there will be eight teams.

of the events using the scoring table. Each team member of the
